Kent Wildlife Trust launches new website PDF Print E-mail
Kent Wildlife Trust now has a stunning new website complete with an online ‘shop’ selling great wildlife gifts.

“There’s a range of gifts to suit everyone: you can delight a dormouse for £10; dedicate a tree for £15; or even sponsor a seal for £25,” explains the Trust’s Head of Fundraising, Phil King. “Even better, all the funds raised will help us protect Kent’s precious wildlife for the future.”

Visitors to www.kentwildlifetrust.org.uk now enjoy easy access to information about the Trust’s work, nature reserves, campaigns, events, news and competitions. They can also complete the landmark This is Your Wildlife Survey 2008 and join the Trust as a member.

The website was built by local online/offline marketing agency, Adams Creative, and went live in April to coincide with the world record attempt*. The online shop was launched in June.

“We’ve been tracking visitor interaction with the new site since its launch, and compared with the previous site, more people are now engaging with our work online, and in a more meaningful way,” explains Phil.

“So far 34 people have entered the Wildlife Gardening Awards, 100 people have completed the Survey and we’ve received hundreds of pounds worth of donations online, so as you can imagine, we’re delighted,” said Phil.

Kent Wildlife Trust is Adams Creative’s Charity of the Year, and the agency’s PR and design teams are supporting the Trust’s 50th anniversary activities in 2008.
