1. How are you able to give away 15,000 magazines every month?
Vine is solely advertising-funded. Each month, local businesses buy advertising space in the magazine which covers our printing and distribution costs.

6. I'm an amateur local photographer. How can I get involved?

7. I really like the design and layout of Vine. Do you offer a design service?
We operate from a fully equipped design studio with the main focus being the monthly production of Vine.
However, we obviously have extensive knowledge in all aspects of print-based media and do accept a limited number of other design projects. In recent months, we have created complete corporate identity solutions and brochures for a number of local firms. Our most recent project in March 2008 was the design and production of a 28 page full-colour brochure for a wine tasting and events company – take a look here.

We receive a high number of requests for work experience placements at Vine. To ensure that every placement is a fulfilling, rewarding and worthwhile experience, we accept very few. 10. Are you currently recruiting graphic designers/proof readers/editorial staff etc?
We receive a huge number of employment requests. At the moment, we've got everything covered in our production and editoral areas. However, we have very ambitious plans for Vine and we'll soon be looking for exceptionally talented people to drive our business forward. Keep checking our online news articles for job vacancies.

11. Are there any door-to-door delivery jobs available at Vine?
Our door-to-door distribution is outsourced to a specialist company and we do not recruit directly. Generally, they only employ distributors aged over 18. For more information about our distribution partner click here.
12. Why didn't I get a copy of Vine through my door this month?
To ensure that as many people as possible discover Vine, we'll be operating a rolling distribution strategy in the first 12 issues. This means that we won't necessarily be delivering to the same houses each month.
But don't worry - to ensure a copy of Vine drops onto your door matt each month hot off the press, simply subscribe to Vine. We won't charge you a penny - all you pay is the postage.
14. I've found a broken link, spelling error or factual inaccuracy somewhere on Online Vine.
Online Vine is very extensive website with over 700 unique pages, all operating within a highly complex programming structure. Whilst we make every effort to ensure everything runs smoothly and is free of errors, odd glitches and typos are spotted from time to time. If you find one, please let us know here.
